ORGANIZE
CPAOM is a member-based 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization representing childcare providers across Michigan. The strength of our advocacy comes directly from the strength of our membership.
CONNECT
CPAOM connects providers through roundtables, association communications, and direct conversations with the state agencies and leaders shaping childcare policy in Michigan.
ADVOCATE
CPAOM advocates directly with policymakers on issues affecting Michigan’s childcare providers and hosts Capitol Days that bring members’ voices, experiences, and priorities directly to the state Capitol.
Michigan is expanding opportunity in early childhood education.
As programs grow and access expands, Michigan needs the expertise of the providers who have long supported our children, families, workforce, and economy.
GSRP & PreK for All
Michigan's Great Start Readiness Program now serves nearly 48,000 children, and the state is working toward broader PreK for All access. Strong expansion depends on the providers delivering that care
every day.
MI Tri-Share
Tri-Share helps working families afford licensed childcare through a three-way cost split between employers, employees, and the state. Providers make that system possible.
Provider Expertise Matters
Research consistently links
high-quality early learning to stronger school readiness and
long-term outcomes.
As Michigan builds what comes next, there is no expert more essential than a provider.
